I found mostly interactive online games to be part of my ICT rich learning plan so i will only choose a couple of those and will decide on ways that students can use ICTs to create pieces of work. One online game is called Space Lab: Slime Emergency. This game focuses on changes of state at different temperatures and has easy step by step instructions to complete the mission. It requires students to predict, observe and then explain the change of state or result.
I have decided that i will design a task in which students will use a type of animation software to explain their understanding of changes of state and the definitions of solids, liquids and gases.
When I started my search for possible activities i decided to use Scootle first and then a Google search. The results were usually online games and videos with the occasional lesson plan or idea. Very few of the results aligned with my expectation and understanding of the content descriptors I am using so I was quite disappointed with my searches. I believe my next step would be to brainstorm possible ICT skills that i will be able to integrate into the subject matter to make my learning plan ICT rich.
